Ok, I give up... I spend WAY more time deleting comment spam than posting... For the long periods I don't post it seems to slow down, but as soon as I peek back in, BAM (channeling Emeril here) they take it up a huge notch...
Solution... I working my way backwards, closing the comments on very post... If I get off my ass and start posting regularly again, I would probably leave the comments open for a time and then shut them, but currently, I'm just keeping the bars on the windows...
How bloody annoying...
